At every meeting of the Ministry Council, a report on the financial condition of the congregation is heard and discussed. For the next several weeks, this space will be devoted to an explanation of various facets of our congregational finances. This week we will look at some of the sources of income for our Operating Fund.

Offering envelope contributions accounted for about 75% of our Operating Fund income in 2007. These are the regular, sacrificial gifts brought by our members.

School income (tuition, registration fees, pre-school fees, and child care) was a little over 11% of income.

Special gifts (much of that from our St. Lorenz Foundation + land rental and interest income) made up about 13% of total dollars given for ministry here.
We continue to thank our gracious God for the generosity of His people and for the ways He provides funding for the many and varied ministries at St. Lorenz.
