At every meeting of the Ministry Council, a report on the financial condition of the congregation is heard and discussed. For the next several weeks, this space will be devoted to an explanation of various facets of our congregational finances. This week we will look at some of the way Operating Fund expenses are broken down.
• Personnel costs (wages and benefits) regularly account for 85% of the total expenditures from our Operating Fund.
• Utilities and insurance account for 7.5% of dollars spent.
• Program expenses make up the remaining 7.5%. These include such things as worship supplies, Sunday School and school books, conferences, paper and printing costs, youth ministry resources, lawn mowing and snow removal equipment costs, some building repairs, computer and technology costs, etc.
Our administrative team continually strives to be good stewards of the finances entrusted to them
