Mr. Zeddies' Classroom Newsletter
December 22, 2008

May God bless you and your family with the happiness that comes from the knowledge that Jesus has come to Earth to save us from our sins!!

It looks like we will have school on Tuesday, December 23. If this is the case there are some changes that will be made from last week's newletter:

Math - There will be no retest on the multiplication test until Wednesday, January 7th. We will begin a new unit on geometry when we return from the break.

English - No homework for the survival stories will be assigned until after the break.

Spelling - The unit 15 test will be on Tuesday. In addition, the unit 15 book will be due on Tuesday as well.

Science - A new unit on the earth's resources, specifically energy, will begin after the break. Also, the "pet rock" project will be introduced then.

Christmas Party -  I do plan on having a class Christmas party on Tuesday. This means that we will have the gift exchange (As mentioned in last week's newsletter there is a $10 limit. Students do not have to participate in the gift exchange if they do not wish to do so.) Students may bring a bottle of pop for the party.

Hartley Outdoor Education - Please return the forms and fee to Mr. Zeddies by January 9. Also, I found that I did not include the St. Lorenz permission slip in the last packet. It will be sent home on Tuesday. There will be a meeting for all students and any interested parents with Mr. Blaschka, the director at Hartley, on Tuesday, January 6th at 8:15 a.m. in the Heritage Room.

If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Zeddies at 652-6141 ext. 223.

I really hope that this Christmas break will be a time of joy and rest for you and your family.

In Christ,

Mr. Zeddies
