Have you seen the cards for Emily yet? In last week's memo it was explained that the students at St. Lorenz worked together on a project in honor of their fellow student, Emily Long, and her father, Dan Long. Emily and Dan were killed in a car accident last March on their way to school.

Grandparent's / Special Person's Day

On Monday, November 24, we will have our very special Grandparent's / Special person's Day. Your child is invited to ask these special guests to ou school for one hour on that day. We will divide the classes into 2 sessions:

Morning Preschool: 8:30 - 9:30 AM and 9:45 - 10:45 AM

Afternoon Preschool: 12:15 - 1:15 PM and 1:30 - 2:30 PM

Because the class sizes will be smaller, your child will be able to invite as many grandparents or special persons as they want to come and share in a fun-filled day with him/ her. Your child's guest(s) will bring him/her to school on that day and take them home after their designated hour.

Buddy Program

Starting the week, of October 29, we are going to begin our School-wide Buddy Program. The Buddy Program is a great opportunity for our little ones to get to know some of the older children at our school and make some great new friends along the way. Some of the activities that we will be doing are playing games together, doing craft activities, singing songs, and being read to. As the year goes on, we hope to take some walks outside together and possibly go on a field trip together. The older kids are very excited to be buddies with us! The AM class will be buddies with Mrs. Mueller's 8th grade class and our PM class will be buddies with Mrs. List's 4th grade class.
